Month #1 in review

It’s been a month since I started Saturday Habits, so it’s time to assess how things have been going so far with my first five habits!

  1. Shower every day. In a month, I only missed one day. Over time, my showering time gravitated from the morning to the evening. I skipped one day to switch from evening back to morning; it didn’t make sense to shower immediately before and after bed.
  2. Make the bed every day. Other than days we washed the bedsheets, I missed this habit one day too. I got up too late to make the bed before leaving for work. Speaking of getting up late….
  3. Get up without snoozing. Perfect for two weeks! I don’t set an alarm on the weekends, which gives me the freedom to lie in bed on Saturday and Sunday. A future habit may address that.
  4. Walk at least 7,000 steps. I haven’t missed a day in the week since this habit officially started.
  5. Meditate every day. This one just started, but so far, so good!
